You are being quite sanctimonious about this. We had the lowest unemployment in years before this under the conditions you claim now keep people from working. They didn't quit working then, but now are? I don't think so.

And there isn't a non immigration rule. It is an "illegal" immigration law. We still let over a million [people a year in legally. It is the "illegals" we are dealing with. You do believe in laws, don't you?

Ronald Reagan once said "they tell us that there are no simple answers to our problems. They are wrong. The answers are simple, the courage to implement them is what is difficult".

The answer is not to pay people not to work. By the way, that money isn't free. It comes from those who do work and pay taxes or from borrowing money that someday has to be paid back.

And I do not preach. I have my thoughts and opinions. I wait for the day the truth comes out about how this started and how poorly it has been handled by our so called experts. I grieve for those who lost loved ones needlessly through the incompetence of many elected officials.

And if you want to tell the whole story, how many people have died from suicide during this? How many died from drug overdoses? How many were counted as dying from Covid, when there were ?other factors. How many have mental issues they are dealing with. because of lockdowns, that are now proving to have not worked? How many lost businesses or are the verge of doing so? You said in your initial comments about being cruel. I would say that is pretty cruel stuff.
