A very smart person once told myself and my team that the purpose of business is to make money now and in the future. That is the main drive. That allows for then making contributions and doing good deeds. If put in reverse order, the business is doomed to fail. If employees confuse that, the business is in trouble.

If one wants to be woke you can either use your non work time, which is about 70% of your available time each week, or take a vocation that does that. Remember Mother Theresa? She devoted her life to helping others. You can do that too if you wish.

Just keep work and woke separate. You can do both, just not together.
