As a manager I learned to work well with those with different styles, even from mine. The key was defining what needed to be done, what the outcome should be and the timing needed. How it was accomplished was up to the individual. as long as the conditions were met that was all that mattered. What also mattered was accomplishment and working with others. If that didn't happen, the offender was given a chance to correct. If not, bye bye.
