Brilliant piece. I too am tired about all of the noise. Noise doesn't mean right or good, it just means loud and quite honestly irritating. If you have something really important to say, say it. Then be quiet. Repeating something stupid or a lie doesn't make it smart or true.

I cover this a lot in my book, "Influences and Influencers". The truly important people in my life were the quiet doers. The negative influencers who taught me what not to do or be were the brash, in your face, BS artists.

Once I learned who to listen to and emulate, the rest was easy.
