Couldn’t agree more. Saw this play out in many companies I worked with and for. And once the person hits the ceiling, they are left in place because admiting the mistake of putting them there is damaging to the executive. Amzing that with all the business books, lectures and education, these practices still happen. But, they do. And those who can’t tolerate it move on.
