First, thank you for your service. It is always appreciated. Next, it seems you have done some pretty wonderful things so far and you aren't done yet. Good for you. Life never stops at a particular age in life. It just means we are now doing different things than before.

I started writing after retirement as well. I have lots of things bottled up that I want to share with everyone else or at least those who will read my stuff or listen to my speaking. Hope you find as much satisfaction from writing as I do.
