I always arrived at work consideably before anyone else. I had my priorities of things to get done and did so before others arrived. Then, when others arrived, if and when I was interrupted it wasn’t a big deal because I had my really important stuff already completed. If I had something really big to complete and didn’t want an interruption my assistant was my gatekeeper. Only a real emergency changed things. And if that wasn’t enough then I either located to where no one could find me or i worked from home and took no calls till I was done.Worked well for me and I got my stuff done on time.
