I am a conservative. I believe in climate change. Ever since the earth started there has been climate change. If there wasn't, what happened to all of the dinosaurs? We also had an ice age. That too is gone.

That said, I have trouble with that mankind is causing all of the problems experienced with weather. One good volcanic blast will do more harm to the earth than everything we are supposedly doing.

We have done lots to reduce pollution and such. Yet, the biggest violators are not held accountable. Remember when China had to close down all activity in Beijing during their Olympics because the air quality was so poor.? Yet they get a pass as a developing country even though they may be the largest economy in the world. Why aren't the climate folks camped out there? Oh yeah, because that is where they will wind up, in a camp somewhere in China.

Or how about India? Want to swim in the Ganges anytime soon? Don't see many climates protests there.

Or Brazil. Olympians had to protect themselves while dealing with the garbage throughout their shoreline where boating events occurred.

And I see the ocean cleanup commercials on TV. Everything is in Asia where the ocean waters are filled with trash.

So I see all this and then it all comes back to the US. We need to do more. We need to support all of these global efforts. We, we, we. Not anyone else, just the US.

So yeah, we are not being told the truth. Including that you can buy your way out of responsibility by paying a carbon tax and then flying on your private jet to one of your six or ten homes. By the way, who needs six or ten homes?

So I believe in climate change. Will always be here until the sun pops and we go bye bye. And we can keep this place clean. Let's make sure the focus is on the right violators.
