I remember taking Leadership training with a number of other people. Most wanted to talk, talk, talk, rather than listening. They felt by talking and appearing to know it all they were and would be great leaders. At the end of the 4 days. we were asked to assess each other. One person commented about how I was always attentive listening. And then when I spoke, he said that I had earned a right to be listened to. I have never forgotten that and practice that still today.
