I went through this in Leadership development. Many of the attendees wanted to talk first, were the loudest and it was always about them. It was annoying and a turn off. There has to be a good balance between listening and speaking up. You cannot be trampled over by the loud mouths. But when you get to speak make it worth it. Make it short, sweet and pointed. Those that want to get to the point will appreciate it. Those that don't should be ignored.
