In business I have had the opportunity to work with young people, still in school. In each instance I told them that I would treat them as adults. In that regard, they were to then act as adults. They were given expectations and told to meet them. In most cases they did and it worked out wonderfully. They learned aa lot and went on to successful careers.

Unfortunately too many adults I have worked with don't act as adults. And I feel like a babysitter. The relationship isn't good. Wish i had them as students. Could have taught them better.
