In other words, don’t let others define your life and success. I always wanted to be an executive for a large company. After working for two large companies I found that it wasn’t really worth it. I saw the executives at each and wasn’t impressed with them. It was about the politics that i didn’t want to play. I started my own company with 5 other partners. I was elected president and served as such for 17 years. It was a great time and I never acted above anyone else in the organization. We all worked together for a common goal. We helped over 300 companies to be successful. And I had and still have a balanced life. Not what I dreamed of, but to me successful and I am happy. That is what it is all about.
