Life-Learning Lessons for a Successful Career

None of us are born with preconceived ideas as to who we are and what we will become. It is the influences and influencers in our lives that help mold us and establish how we think, decide and act.

I have had a great life and career. I have had some difficult times, but overall, the good in my life certainly has outweighed the bad. I have been observant of those around me and how they have reacted to me and others. In each experience, I learned not only what I felt was right, but more importantly, what was not right about how I conducted myself and interacted with others.

I have had some great influencers in my life. These people have helped with my education, career, and life in general. They showed me that we are not expected to know everything about everything. Rather, we should rely on others. The trick is choosing the individuals right for you and upon whom you can rely.
