Managing is all about getting others to complete necessary work. If you do it for them, there is no reason to have them. You domit all. As manager you pick a capable person, go over what is required and the plan for doing it and let them have at it. You check regularly to see how things are going and if problems arise help to resolve them. This is what I did and it worked well.
