Martin Luther King once said "We should judge a man by the content of his character, not the color of his skin".

No person can control that. The same is true of your ethnicity. You are born what you are born. Beyond your or anyone else's control. It is what you do with yourself and your life that you can control.

I am of German heritage. I rarely talk about that or identify with it. What I do talk about is who I am, what I have done and what I think and believe, based on my life experiences.

That is enough. Need any more and that is your problem, not mine. As Popeye said "I am what I am and that's all that I am".
