My wife continually reminds me about this when I do it. Bringing up people I dislike and don't want to associate with serves no purpose. They probably aren't thinking about me, why should I spend my time thinking about them? There are more important people and things in my life. My focus should be on them. And all I associate with aren't perfect. They all have flaws. Guess what? So do I. I can't change them and they can't change me. So I accept whatever and life goes on. I take the good they have and that is my focus.
