Not everyone is for you. Fact of life. Most are miserable themselves and don't want anyone else to be happy. I get it from people after I comment on an article, not even theirs. They get personal, like 4th graders so I block them and forget about them. You should too. Do what makes you happy. If that is somewhere other than the U.S. than so be it. Your life, your choices.
