Not sure this type of leadership was ever good or acceptable. It just was what it was and there wasn't a good communication to talk about it. In today's world, everything is under a microscope. So we see all of the flaws of a person both big and small.

We must remember leaders are human too with all the warts and flaws. It is how they handle these that determines not only what type of leader but also what type of person they are.
