Really good stuff. As a manager, I took on jobs no one else wanted. By doing so, I was trusted to get things done and given more opportunities. I never had a budget cut and in fact while others were, mine actually increased. Others couldn’t understand why or how. It was simple. But it took work and doing what others refused to do.
