"Retiring" from every day work was hard. I headed my company for 17 years. I always said it was about the company and not me but personally but it was still hard to leave. I am basically forgotten by those I led and worked with. But that is ok. I have a new life full of activities and many cannot believe when I say I am retired. Never let what you do define you. Live for the moment and be the best you can be at whatever you are doing. And when it is time to give things up or change what you are doing, move on. It is who and what you are.
