Rich people are rich for a reason. Pareto discovered that years ago and espoused that if we all started over, eventually the same folks would be rich again and those not still wouldn't be.

I buy things only when I need them. Except for the few collectibles I have. Otherwise, they are things for use. And as long as they function, I don't need the latest and greatest. Old tried and true is just fine for me.
