Terrific article with many great points. I practiced a number of these in my working life, especially not hanging out after hours at work. That was my family time and that is where I spent my after work hours. 9 to 10 hours with my coworkers was more than sufficient. There is a life balance. One other thing to add is make sure you take the time off you are entitled to. Getting away and getting your batteries recharged is very important. I never left vacation time unused. And I encouraged my employees not to either. All work and no play …..
