The tricky part here is who decides what decisions are good and which are not. Many leaders make decisions that go against the mainstream. Are these good even though many may disagree with them at the time? If such were the case, many who we hold historically as great leaders were not considered so at the time. Using evil people such as Stalin or Hitler because of what they did, does not diminish from the fact that they made some amazing accomplishments and influenced many people. Were they corrupt and evil? Without a doubt. Would we want them leading us? No way. But yet many followed them. And today there are those who are touted as leaders that go against what many believe, yet are touted as great current leaders. Take Fauci for example. During Covid he was touted as a marvel. We now know he was wrong on many fronts and possibly caused more harm than good. So history has an opposing view of him and his leadership. As I started with, this is a tricky area. Decide for yourself who you want to hold up a a paragon leader and who you should not. But be skeptical of all and do not get caught in the moment.
