There are still some inequities regarding all Americans and jobs. When companies bring in cheaper foreign labor through certain visa systems or support illegal immigration that is wrong and hurts our people. This is especially true for the unskilled labor population, but also in the tech area. That is wrong and should be stopped.

As for legal immigrants who come and start their own businesses, that is not an issue. Starting new businesses is not a zero sum game. If I start one that doesn’t stop you or anyone else from starting one.

My point is that people still see the U.S. as the best place for opportunity. Otherwise, people would migrate to other countries. We average a million legal immigrants per year wanting to come and start a better life. No one else comes close. If we are so racist that wouldn’t be happening. To say so is nonsense. Was just at the mall yesterday. So people of all sizes, shapes, ethnicities and such all happily getting along. If the U.S.was so bad, doubt I or others would see that. Are there issues? Yup. Always will be. But we keep working at it.
