This article is so sad, but so true. In the corporate world I saw this first hand. I kept my people from being sucked into useless meetings. I went to them while they got things done. If they needed to do something, I went through it with them. They appreciated it and all was good. I didn't realize that it was 75 to 85% wasted time. But I am not surprised. That is why consultants like me thrive. To tell people how wasteful they are and get it corrected.
