To paint everyone in any category with the same brush is wrong. We are all individuals and should be judged as such. So through out the color, race, sex, and whatever and evaluate the person and what he or she does. Not says, but does.

We can find good or bad in any group or person, depending upon what we want to see. To single out one without looking at and comparing it to all of the others is plain wrong and dishonest.

And to say that if a person has a flaw of any kind disqualifies any of the good they do means we can honor no one, because we are all flawed. We have all made mistakes and said or done things we regretted or were criticized for. Only one person who walked this earth was perfect and he was killed by his fellow humans.

So we choose to support the flawed person or persons that are closest to what we believe, realizing that they are imperfect. But, they better represent us than the other choices.
