Too many people literally put all of their eggs in one basket. They have a single thought or plan and if it doesn't pan out, well that is it. They give up. I learned a while ago not to count anything as sure and to have options. Still happening today. One person wants me to work with him and his chorts. In 2 years, lots of talk but nothing beyond that. In that time I have written and published 2 books, done a consulting gig, and am teaching. What if I waited for this fellow to come through with something real? I'd be waiting and have accomplished nothing.
