We believe that in the business world we are dealing with professionals. That term is too widely used. There are many in business who are not professionals. They are what my old drafting teacher called one difficult student, a child in a man’s body. It really makes you wonder how people such as this survive in their jobs. Good companies don’t tolerate this. But sometimes one sneaks through and lasts for a while. In the meantime, that person can create havoc. Don’t let these people get to you. Recognize who and what they are. And if they permeate the company, move on. There are many true professionals out there to work with and for.
